Eliminates self-destructive action of carbide blades, reducing risk of foreign object contamination from chipping 
The 8154PSP has performed superbly tests -- cutting coils at .0015” to .003” -- and has advantages over carbide cutters: these PSP cutters can be reconditioned to extend their tool life.
